  Sharon is a watercolorist who is best known for her exciting renditions of a variety of subjects including luminous still life, landscapes, and stunning floral paintings that impart a sense of passion and  joy.  She captures the spirit of her subjects that uplift the hearts and minds of viewers.  Each painting is a treasure unto itself, often inspired by items and locations from her daily life in the beautiful Northwest Arkansas Ozarks.

The underlying constant in the artist’s work is her passionate combination of light and subject.  Her goal is to create an emotional response that invites the viewer into the painting, therefore creating a vision of a place in the heart of the viewer, that they would want to return to.  There is an unexpected personal story connected to each and every painting. 

Sharon grew up with a love for the beauty of art and an appreciation for its capacity to bring happiness to others.  It is a great satisfaction for her to be able to share her inspirations with you.  Sharon’s work has received awards in many of the exhibitions she has entered.  She is an associate member of the National Watercolor Society, and  a signature member of the Artists of Northwest Arkansas.  Her work is represented in private collections and major corporate collections, including Mattel Toys, Inc., Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and Tyson Foods, Inc.
